Room Rentals
Watermark Books & Cafe offers two meeting rooms on the lower level for small community groups and book clubs, baby showers and teacher in-service days, board retreats, and planning sessions: The Autograph Gallery and The Starry Night Room. Catering and beverage service is available for meeting groups, as well as projection systems.
Fees:
There is a $25 fee per hour to rent either of our meeting rooms, paid in advance to reserve the space. You will be given access to the room 15 minutes in advance of your rental. If you need additional time, there may be an additional fee.
There is a $25.00 fee for rental of a projector and screen. The Watermark Books & Cafe staff will do all the set up and take down.
Availability:
We are open from 9-4 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 9-3 Saturday and Sunday, and 9-7 on Thursday. Room reservations can not be made anytime later than two hours before closing, and groups must be finished by half an hour before closing.

To reserve space in our meeting room, please fill out the following form and we'll be in contact with you directly. If you have any questions, call Kris at 316-682-1181 extension 4, or email her at kris.stephens@watermarkbooks.com. We will send you a copy of our contract to your mailbox within 2 business days. No outside food or drink, nor outside sales are permitted (we can provide catering, and groups are encouraged to order right off our menu HERE. We'll bring the food down to you).
Each person attending can order in advance and we will take payment and have your order delivered to the room upon arrival of the group. This is an efficient and speedy way to get food in a timely manner. No lines, no waiting to pay, just delicious food right away.

The Author Autograph Gallery
This space features hundreds of autographs and drawings by authors and illustrators who have visited Wichita and Watermark Books & Cafe over the years. It seats up to 18 comfortably and is available for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast trays, soup and sandwich trays, or even casserole and salad buffets work well in this space. A beverage spread can include coffee, tea, and water. And a dessert tray wraps up the event nicely. Because we have a restaurant, outside food cannot be brought in. Restrooms are available on the first level. This is our more private room, with stairs that lead from the cafe down into the meeting space and a door that can be closed
The Starry Night Room
The Starry Night Room is named for a mural of the iconic painting by Van Gogh. There is room for 24 seated guests or 35 for auditorium seating. It is available for breakfast and lunch Breakfast trays, soup and sandwich trays, or even casserole and salad buffets work well in this space. A beverage spread can include coffee, tea, and water. And a dessert tray wraps up the event nicely. Because we have a restaurant, outside food cannot be brought in. There is a restroom available on the lower level for use by attendees. This room is open to our offices, and is less private than the Author Autograph Gallery.
