We will be celebrating the paperback release of David's most recent book, Happy-Go-Lucky, a series of essays that once again capture what is most unexpected, hilarious, and poignant about these interesting times. There is no one better to chronicle them than the incomparable David Sedaris, a Watermark customer and staff favorite. All of David's other wonderful titles are available in paperback as well, and listed below. Due to contractual limitations from the author and the publisher, we must hold the David Sedaris event in the bookstore. Back when restaurant menus were still printed on paper, and wearing a mask—or not—was a decision made mostly on Halloween, David Sedaris spent his time doing normal things. As Happy-Go-Lucky opens, he is learning to shoot guns with his sister, visiting muddy flea markets in Serbia, buying gummy worms to feed to ants, and telling his nonagenarian father wheelchair jokes.
