You can purchase all four books separately on their own or as a collection with Jan Brett's Winter Collection Box Set! Watermark will have plenty of books to purchase to accommodate everyone at the event. If you purchase your books ahead of time, please keep a copy of the receipt, or email confirmation if ordered online. Jan Brett will be at the Advanced Learning Library on Thursday, December 7th at 10 a.m.
Jan Brett's Winter collection follows Hedgie's adventure trying to stay awake to see the wonders of winter and entertaining all of his animal friends. Before the book signing Jan Brett will do a 20-30 minute drawing demonstration related to her bestselling picture book Cozy and talk about her research trip to Alaska to see the musk oxen which will start at 10 a.m. It will be a very fun and informative event for young readers. The Snowy Nap, The Hat, Cozy, and The Three Bears, and the full Winter Collection Box Set, which includes all four, will be available for purchase before, during, and after the event. The first 100 families in line will receive a free signed Jan Brett Poster. Jan will do her very best to sign all the books when time permits. The number she can sign per family depends on how many people come to the signing. If time does not permit her to sign every book, special signed bookplates featuring her artwork will be on hand for the extra books. Jan Brett's tour bus will be parked at the Advanced Learning Library by the start of the event. It is wrapped in artwork from her books. Your family is welcome to take a photograph next to the bus. Hedgie, Jan's favorite friend from The Mitten and The Hat, will be visiting the library as well. We welcome you to bring the kids to have a photo taken with Hedgie.
