    • Our café hours are: Monday Friday 9-4 | Thursday 9-7 | Saturday and Sunday 9-3

  4. Where are you able to ship to?
    • We have great staff and large storage in warehouses all over the country that allows us to ship anywhere both domestically in the United States and internationally! So no matter where you live we can get the book right to you!

Order Questions 

  1. If I find a book on your site, does that mean it's currently in stock at your store?
    • Not necessarily. If you require your order urgently, please call us to confirm availability.
  2. I received a confirmation e-mail. Does this mean that my order is ready to be picked up or has been shipped?
    • No. This just means that we've received your order. You will receive another email when your order has shipped or is ready to be picked up.
  3. When will I get my book(s)?
    • For in stock orders, we prepare them for shipping within 5 business days and delivery time depends on the method of shipping selected. For orders with out of stock items, please contact us for shipping timelines at orders[at]watermarkbooks.com
  4. What forms of payment does Watermark accept?
    •  We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) and if you're picking up in store, you may pay with cash or check.
  5. If I place an order on your website, will it count towards my Seasoned Reader frequent buyer card?
    • Yes, if you are currently signed up for our Seasoned Reader Card program, any order on our website will also be counted towards your account, as long as the name on the online order matches the name we have on file for your account. If the names are different (for instance, if a credit card is under someone else's name, such as a spouse), please ensure that your purchase is counted by leaving a note for us under "order comments" when checking out. If you are not currently signed up for our Seasoned Reader program, you can sign up on our website here, or just come into Watermark and ask one of our lovely booksellers to sign you up!
  6. I have a Seasoned Reader Coupon I would like to use on the website, but I cannot get checkout to recognize my coupon. Help!
    • Unfortunately, our Seasoned Reader Coupons are not recognized by our website. If you would like to use a Seasoned Reader Coupon on your order, please leave a note in the "order comments" field when checking out. Once we receive your order, we will apply the coupon for you.
  7. I am having trouble with my Watermark gift card during checkout. Help!
    • Watermark gift cards can now be used on our website! During checkout, use the "Watermark Books Gift Card" pane to apply your gift card to your order. It will ask for the gift card number, as well as a credit card as a backup method, in the event that the gift card will not cover the order. If you are continuing to have issues with your gift card, please give us a call at 316-682-1181 and we will be more than happy to take your order over the phone.
  8. I am having trouble with my credit card during checkout. Help!
    • Please double-check that your information has been entered correctly. If you are still having trouble, try selecting "Paypal" instead during checkout. (If you do not have a Paypal account, you can checkout as a guest on Paypal's site, by selecting "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" instead of logging in. You will then be prompted to enter your credit card information.)
  9. I cannot log in to my account. Help!
    • Please verify that you are attempting to log in with the email address you used when placing your order. If you cannot remember your password, click "forgot password" to receive an email with instructions on resetting your password.
  10. The website will not allow me to complete checkout. Help!
    • Unfortunately, the ways of technology are inscrutable from time to time. Please give us a call at 316-682-1181 and we will be more than happy to help you over the phone. Plus, our lovely booksellers (hopefully) will not inspire daydreams of taking an axe to your device.
  11. How do I request a signed copy of a book?
    • When we have Author events or special pre-order campaigns with authors we will have a certain number of books in stock that the author signs at our events or at some point for the store. Those books that they sign are books we are happy to sell to our customers that not many other bookstores can offer. If you want a signed copy of a book, before an author event or during a pre-order campaign, you simply have to put it in the comments box at checkout that you want a signed copy and also any personalized messages you'd like the author to write within reason. And once the order is placed we can have the signed copy of the book reserved for you. Also, we will only have a limited number of books in stock that the author is able to sign so the best way to ensure a signed copy is to order it early and before the author's event.
  12. When do I get a signed copy of the book?
    • ​​​​​​​Because signed copies of the book are considered special orders and require the author to come to the store to sign them, it may take longer to receive signed copies of the book. If you selected a store pickup option for the signed copy you can pick up the signed copy of the book anytime after or during the author event during our regular store hours. If you ordered for the book to be shipped expect the normal 5 business days for regular shipping, or shorter depending on the shipping method requested, from the date of the event in order for the book to arrive at the address you inputted when you ordered the book.
  13. I already have my book, can I still get it signed?
    • Yes! You are welcome to attend the author event and every event has the opportunity for the author to sign all of the books that customers have of the author. If you will not be able to attend the event, you can request the store to hold your book and request it signed at the event and you can pick up the book anytime after the event during our regular store hours.
