She coordinates the exchange program between WSU and the University of Orleans in France, and she is involved in the Sister Cities partnership as well.
A Short Introduction to French Book Club:
1.What book has been your group's favorite selection this past year? Why? In the past year, there's not been just one single book that has stood out from all the rest. But I can definitely say that the books that create the most discussions are the ones we dislike! Yes, once in a while, there is a book that we all dislike intensely, and we can't stop talking about it. However, we also talk a lot about the ones we love. But we did notice that we tend to go on and on about the books that get us all crumpled up!
2. How would you describe your book club to a prospective member? The French Book Club is definitely all in French, with speakers of moderate to advanced proficiency skills. However, people interested in attending and just listening are welcome. The group is an animated bunch who like to discuss ideas and characters until the cows go home! We usually close the house down. We are lucky the staff of Watermark is so friendly.
