Watermark Books & Cafe is thrilled to have an in-store storytime with Dustin Wilgers! Dustin is the author of Savanna Spider, Super Scientist and the Science-Fair Mystery, where the super scientist Savanna and her classmates play detective and work together to solve the mystery. Dustin will be bringing his tarantulas to join us for storytime. This event will take place on Thursday, August 4th at 10am in-store, and will also be streamed live to Watermark's Facebook page here.
About Savanna Spider, Super Scientist and the Science-Fair Mystery
Savanna Spider is back at it! This time, the super scientist is working on a class science-fair project where nothing seems to go right. Follow Savanna and her classmates as they play detective and work together to solve the mystery. Along the way, you will learn about some of Savanna’s new friends as well as how curious scientists use the scientific method to uncover mysteries all around us.“Science Behind the Story” sidebars throughout the book explain the real science behind this fun and engaging story about a little spider scientist. Kids will learn it is never too early to be curious and look at the world through the eyes of science.
