Shusterman does a masterful job weaving together and wrapping up all the various plot lines that Scythe and Thunderhead introduced, while keeping readers on the edge of their seats. There are villains to hate, heroes to cheer for, AI to puzzle over, morally ambiguous characters to wonder about, and no one is safe from the scythe's blade.
