I read this book in a night. The book is a true story of love at first sight. Ree is in a transition phase in her life. She leaves LA and her boyfriend with plans to move to Chicago. A long the way she stops in her home town in Oklahoma. It's there she meets the "Marlboro Man" and everything changes. Ree makes choices that she never thought she would make. The memoir covers their real life romance as well as divorce, death, ranching difficulties and the birth of a child. This is really a story of City Girl meet Cowboy and how they discover love and acceptance.

The book is a fun, fast read. I enjoyed the glimpse into Ree's life and how she fell in love. The story almost made me believe in love at first sight - it at least made me think about how things happen when you don't expect them to and that just maybe there is a plan out there for all of us - if we let go and follow our hearts we just might find out what that plan is. This book is a great read for anyone looking for a fun, light read about love - perfect for Valentines Day!
