Independent Bookstore Day 2017
Saturday, April 29 is the OFFICIAL Independent Bookstore Day, but why limit the celebration of Independent Bookstore Day to just one day? We're celebrating the week leading up to Saturday, April 29 and the week after with a block of local authors, national authors, and local authors on a national stage. Plus, our events will be at local partner venues, featuring printmaking, bookmaking, and illustration. We'll even have wine, margaritas, and a happy hour! Join us for as many events as you can! We'll see you around town and at the store.
Don S. Lemons is a Professor Emeritus at Bethel College in Newton, and his book on physics makes math and the laws of physics understandable for even those who struggled with math. Lemons's presentation will focus on his book Drawing Physics. The event is free to attend. For more information, click HERE.
Kristen Radtke will be in conversation with Watermark Books & Cafe owner Sarah Bagby to discuss her graphic memoir, Imagine Wanting Only This.
