Embrace the book club with a bite! A special (and perhaps unhealthy?) interest in the undead and other preternatural creatures is all that is required. They read and discuss books that encompass all the numerous varieties of the paranormal; vampires to witches and much more.
The group's leader, Colleen Kelly McGee, first became fascinated with the paranormal genre at a young age when her grandmother gave her her first vampire book. She now fancies herself to be something of a Vampire Expert, and we agree!
A Short Introduction to Vampires Anonymous Book Club:
1. What book has been your group's favorite selection this past year? Why? It's hard to choose, but if popularity is reflected in sales, then Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs and The Vampire Queen's Servant by Joey W. Hill were definitely our bestsellers. The Vampires Anonymous Book Club loved them both.
2. How would you describe your book club to a prospective member? Vampires Anon is a passionate group who read widely in the paranormal genre. You might say they "devour" books!
