Camp Watermark - Your Life Book
Looking for something for your young person to do this summer? Sign them up for Camp Watermark!
Camp Watermark is a short day camp for youth, ages 7 to 11, with hands-on projects and activities. It is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m and costs $15 per session or $55 for all five weeks. The cost includes lunch, treat, and supplies for each session. This session is run by author Michelle Brown. She will bring supplies so participants can create books featuring the things they love and hope to do in life.She will incorporate all the basics of writing a good story, such as setting, characters, conflict, and plot and emphasize being true to yourself, making the best of the things you can't change, and dreaming big. She will also talk about being an author and answer their questions.
The scheduled sessions are as follows:
July 6 - This session will be "Flight" led by Alan Brooks.
July 13 - This session will be "Fill Your Bucket" led by Tonya Henning.
July 20 - This session will be "Your Life Book", led by Michelle Brown.
July 27 - This session will be "Mythology" led by Melissa Fox
August 4 - This session will be "Comics" led by Grant Snider
