Tina Sloan’s career as an actress has spanned over 40 years in TV and film. Tina is best known for her 26-year role as nurse Lillian Raines on the acclaimed CBS daytime drama, Guiding Light and now as author of the book "Changing Shoes." She has also appeared on other TV shows including Law & Order: SVU and Third Watch and has been featured on 60 Minutes, The Montel Williams Show, and The Young Turks. In film, Tina has appeared in Woody Allen’s Celebrity and the Curse of the Jade Scorpion, The Brave One with Jodi Foster, Changing Lanes with Ben Affleck, The Guru with Marisa Tomei, People I Know with Al Pacino, and Black Swan with Natalie Portman. On the radio Tina has been a special guest on NPR’s Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me, AARP, Blog Talk Radio, and Baby Boomer Women. Tina’s autobiographical one-woman show, Changing Shoes has been a hit nationwide and has played to sold-out audiences. Tina currently appears in two web series, empiretheseries.com and venicetheseries.com and has recently completed several new movies: Oh My Love, Happy New Year, and Evil Eyes.
Tina has been featured in a myriad of magazines and newspapers including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, The New York Observer, and TV Guide. She is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and WOWOWOW, as well as contributing to Maria Shriver’s Women’s Conference Blog, CNN.com, AOL.com, and RedRoom.

Tina has been married for 37 years and has one son who was in Iraq as a Marine after graduating from Harvard. He then returned to civilian life and graduated from Harvard Business School so she is able to breathe again.
